Gruyères Castle, a true symbol of the region, is a must-see. Both a historic site and a museum, it offers a unique experience, taking visitors on a fascinating journey through the centuries.

We are delighted to be with you again today to introduce a unique landmark that overlooks our beautiful region: Gruyères Castle.

Just 5 minutes from our hotel in Bulle, it is the second most visited castle in Switzerland, after the famous Chillon Castle on the shores of Lake Geneva. This historic gem of our canton is full of fascinating and varied stories, and we are sure they will captivate you.

The view from the castle’s rampart walk is simply magnificent. Take the time to admire the summit of the Moléson, which rises to 2002 metres, as well as the Intyamon valley, the plains of La Gruyère and the splendid Fribourg Pre-Alps, whose ridges are covered in snow from October onwards… a true fairy-tale landscape.

A little extra: you can buy your ticket to visit the castle directly at our reception. This will save you queuing at the entrance and let you benefit from a more advantageous rate.

For an even more complete experience, we suggest savouring a fondue in the town of Gruyères and treating yourself to a gourmet break with a delicious hot chocolate.

After all these discoveries, come and warm up at the hotel, where our team will offer you our deliciously comforting homemade lemon infusion.
